Jenny

Sewing Teacher and creative facilitator

Hello! I am Jenny, and I am the found of Sew It Jenny Workshops. I have always been creative, very heavily influenced by my mum who quilted a lot when I was growing up.

Although I have made a few quilts (mostly baby quilts), my passion has been with dressmaking and textile art. I am not one for chucking waste away and like to make the most of the fabric I have. In recent years, I have enjoyed learning about Zero Waste patterns and experimenting with using my scraps in different ways.

My obsession for creativity doesn’t stop at sewing; I will give any craft a try. In the past I have tried knitting, screenprinting, willow weaving, jewellery making, stained glass and even artistic blacksmithing!

I look forward to sharing my creative space with you and seeing what you can make!
